Scott McIntyre, CSI
Senior Colourist & Finishing Artist
Specializing in high-end colour workflows, HDR delivery, and creative finishing for broadcast and long-form content. A Full Member of the Colorist Society International (CSI).
Since 2014, colour grading has been my primary day-to-day practice. Delivering consistently under tight schedules while maintaining creative intent across large episode and shot counts. I regularly complete shows with 1,400–2,200 shots, using disciplined workflows built around DaVinci Resolve, modern HDR pipelines, and film-informed colour science.
My work spans broadcast series, documentary, and long-form projects, with recent credits including Dragons’ Den (Season 20), Drag Brunch Saved My Life, All-Round Champion, Project Rube, and Making Canada’s Team. I am equally comfortable handling traditional correction, film emulation, and modern HDR work Choosing tools based on story and delivery requirements rather than trends.
My focus moving forward is high-end finishing, HDR mastering, and scalable remote grading workflows. Supporting productions that value both speed and craft.
Remote Grading Workflow
Colour grading sits at the final creative intersection of intent, schedule, and delivery.
Where decisions are compressed, irreversible, and carried forward into every version.
Remote workflows are no longer a convenience, but a necessity. Whether connecting locally or across time zones, we work in real time with secure, colour-managed pipelines that allow creative decisions to be made collaboratively, under the same pressures as in-room finishing.
EDGE CONNECT
MATRX provides immediate access to shared content. Grading begins the moment files are uploaded to our portal.
REMOTE GRADE
Resolve Studio’s built-in Remote Grading enables us to work real-time with any facility anywhere in the world.
